The Good Sam Friday Clinic
Restoring hope to those in our community experiencing homelessness.
6 years ago, our staff and volunteers launched the Friday Clinic to restore hope to those in our community experiencing homelessness. The Clinic is an example of the Full Circle of Health® in action. Each patient receives a complete medical, dental, and mental health assessment. After a thorough evaluation, a tailored treatment plan is mapped out. On any given Friday, a patient will experience up to four encounters with a healthcare professional.
Not only does our staff provide medical and dental expertise, but we also provide shuttle service to pick up each patient at different locations around the city.
Upon arriving at Good Sam, any needed blood work, diagnostics are arranged, exams are given, and medicines are dispensed from our onsite dispensary. Finally, a hygiene kit is provided to each patient (please see below for items that we are always in need of).
Thus far in 2022, over 3,000 Friday Clinic patient encounters have taken place.

The Good Sam Shuttle
In 2017, through a generous gift, we were able to purchase a new fifteen-passenger van.
The shuttle makes takes a trip to points within the city to provide transportation for our Friday Clinic patients. After receiving comprehensive medical care, we provide them a ride back to their points of pickup.
A Labor of Love
The Friday Clinic is an essential day requiring significant resources to offer Good Sam's Full Circle of Health® to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
The cost to run this program nearly $500,000 annually but with your help, we can sustain this investment into the lives of the most vulnerable in our community by providing much-needed quality healthcare.
