GRANTS COORDINATOR INTERN

Description

The Good Samaritan Health Center (Good Sam) is looking for a qualified intern to join our Development Team. Good Sam provides comprehensive medical, dental, mental health, and health education services to underserved communities in the Metro-Atlanta area.

The intern should be prepared to work in a fast paced, creative, and entrepreneurial environment. Day to day activities will include seeking grant opportunities; assisting with grant proposal content; writing and preparing simple grant applications; printing, assembling, and filing applications and proposal files; maintaining and updating the grant submissions and awards tracking system; researching community trends/facts;

Required Qualifications

  • Current Undergraduate, or Graduate level student
  • Dedicate at least 12 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Must pay very close attention to details
  • Must be very organized and efficient
  • Must be trustworthy to handle confidential documents
  • Someone who enjoys research, writing, and data analysis
