Donor Coordinator Intern
Description
The Good Samaritan Health Center (Good Sam) is looking for a qualified intern to join our Development Team. Good Sam provides comprehensive medical, dental, mental health, and health education services to underserved communities in the Metro-Atlanta area.
The intern should be prepared to work in a fast paced, creative, and entrepreneurial environment. Day to day activities will include scheduling and attending meetings with potential/current donors; conducting customer service based activities such as phone calls (acknowledging gifts or support); assisting with or leading tours; organizing and adding meeting notes to Raiser’s Edge; following up on task to complete; and assisting with special projects and capital programs. This individual will have the opportunity to learn about the complete cycle of fundraising, from identification through stewardship.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate, or Graduate level student
- Dedicate at least 12 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be very enthusiastic and enjoy talking to partners, donors, and staff
